Use of divider to separate men and women while praying

Question: 588

What is the Islamic View in having a divider in the Masjid between the men
and the women sections?

Answer

Praise be to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah and his family.

Al-hamdu lillaah.

There is no problem with having a divider as long as the women are standing behind the men and as long as the women can follow the imam easily.
