There are marfoo’ ahadith concerning that which support one another and indicate that it is prescribed to read Soorat al-Kahf on Friday.
That was proven to be narrated from Abu Sa’eed al-Khudri and the isnaads stop with him. In an issue like this, it cannot be deemed to be his personal opinion; rather he must have learned it from the Prophet (blessing s and peace of Allah be upon him). End quote.
