Did the Sahaabah (may Allah be pleased with them) fast on the day of Badr?

Is it Sunnah to separate one naafil prayer from another by moving to the first spot or to another spot?

It is mustahabb to separate between the obligatory prayer and the naafil prayer, by speaking or moving
