1. Turning away physically by turning one’s chest away from the direction of the Qiblah invalidates the prayer because facing towards the Qiblah is one of the conditions of the validity of prayer being. 2. Turning away one’s head or eyes only, while the body remains facing towards the Qiblah is disliked, unless the Muslim does it because he needs to. 3. There is another type of turning away, which is turning away whilst praying in one’s heart, through thoughts that distract a person so that he does not focus and reflect on his prayer.

Continuity in Wudu means one should not delay washing any part for so long that the part that was washed before it becomes dry, within an average timespan. So, simply opening the door and the like is not regarded as an interruption that would nullify doing the actions consecutively. But if one is distracted by something else that leads to a lengthy interruption during Wudu, then in this case he should start his Wudu anew.

1. Washing the parts of the body in order and consecutively when doing Ghusl is not obligatory according to the majority of jurists. 2. The more correct scholarly view is that rinsing the mouth and nose is obligatory in both Wudu and Ghusl. 3. If a man or woman does Ghusl to remove major impurity, this Ghusl counts for Wudu too. 4. Wudu and Ghusl are valid even if any bits of food remain between the teeth, but removing them is better.

Penalty clauses in financial contracts are permissible, apart from contracts in which the original commitment is in the form of credit (debt). It is not permissible, for example, to stipulate that the one who buys goods by instalment must pay something additional to the price if he delays payment, because this additional cost is in addition to the debt he owes, and that is Riba.

It is obligatory to pay zakah on trade goods. Fixtures that are not prepared for sale are not subject to zakah. It is permissible to pay zakah on trade goods in kind, and it does not have to be paid in cash. Zakah is to be paid on the sale price, not the purchase price.

The Sunnah acts and etiquettes of ‘Eid include: 1. Making ghusl before ‘Eid prayer. 2. Eating before going out to pray on ‘Eid al-Fitr and after the prayer on ‘Eid al-Adha. 3. Takbir on the day of ‘Eid 4. Offering congratulations 5. Adorning oneself on the occasion of ‘Eid. 6. Going to the prayer by one route and returning by another.

There are 7 things that will invalidate the fast: 1. Intercourse 2. Masturbation 3. Eating and drinking 4. Anything that is regarded as coming under the same heading as eating and drinking 5. Letting blood by means of cupping and the like 6. Vomiting deliberately 7. Menstruation and nifas

Some Sunnahs of fasting: 1- If someone reviles you, respond to him by saying ‘I am fasting.’ 2- Eating Suhur. 3- Hastening to break the fast and delaying Suhur. 4- Breaking the fast with fresh dates. 5- Saying this du`a when breaking your fast: ‘Dhahaba al-zama-u wa abtalat al-‘uruqu wa thabata al-ajr in sha Allah.’ 6- Offering a lot of du`a.
