1- There is nothing wrong with studying commerce and accounting even if it includes prohibited things such as Riba and taxes, on condition that the student or teacher believes that what Allah has forbidden of such things are indeed prohibited. 2- There is nothing wrong with studying law to understand what it involves of falsehood and warn others about it, or to benefit from what is beneficial in it while disavowing what it involves of falsehood.

Merchants must learn the fiqhi rulings on trade, so that they can avoid doubtful and makruh things in their financial transactions; the same applies to those who follow professions. Everyone who works with something must learn the fiqhi rulings concerning it so that he can avoid what is haram.

Islam raised the status of women, and made them equal with men in most rulings. So women, like men, are commanded to believe in Allah and to worship Him. And women are made equal to men in terms of reward in the Hereafter. Women have the right to express themselves, to give sincere advice, to enjoin what is good and forbid what is evil, and to call people to Allah. According to the Islamic ‘aqidah: • The pleasures of Paradise are not merely physical in nature, they also include the joy of feeling safe and secure, and of being content with God and being close to Him. • Salvation can only be attained through fulfilling commands, not just by avoiding things that are forbidden. • If every person has a guarantee of Paradise, this would be utterly disastrous, because then everyone would commit all kinds of forbidden acts, feeling safe because of this guarantee. • Islam also guarantees the disbeliever who ignores the commands of Allah that he will definitely enter Hell. • The individual bears the responsibility for his own sin; no one else should bear this burden for him, nor should he bear the burden for anyone else. • The key to Islam is no more than two simple phrases: Ash-hadu an la ilaha ill-Allah wa anna Muhammadan Rasul-Allah.

The duties of Muslims towards non-Muslims include: 1- calling them to Islam; 2- not wronging them; 3- being good neighbours to them; and 4- giving them charity not Zakah if they are poor. There is nothing wrong with interacting with non-Muslims such as buying, selling, renting, hiring and so on. Muslims should not partake in celebrating non-Muslim festivals, but are allowed to offer condolences if their loved one dies.

Etiquette of giving advice in Islam includes: • Your motive for giving advice should be love of good for your brother and hating for anything bad to befall him. • You should be sincere when giving advice, seeking thereby to please Allah. • That advice should be free of any element of deceit or betrayal. • You should not intend when giving advice to shame your brother or put him down. • The advice should be given in a spirit of brotherhood and friendship, with no element of rebuke or harshness. • Giving advice should be done on the basis of knowledge and clear proof. • The advice should be given privately, not out loud in front of people, unless doing so serves a clear interest that outweighs any negative consequences.

The wisdom behind purification in Islam includes: 1. Purification is in harmony with the sound nature (fitrah) that Allah, may He be exalted, instilled in people. 2. Islam is a religion of cleanliness and beauty, and it encourages its followers to stand out among other people by cleaning their bodies, combing their hair, wearing the purest of clothes and smelling good. 3. Modern, well-founded scientific studies have proven that cleanliness and purification protect a person from many diseases, and that filth is the cause of many diseases. 4. The Muslim is required to meet and converse with his Lord, may He be exalted [in prayer]. 5. Whoever strives to purify his body and clothes from filth and impurities should be even keener to purify his heart and soul of bad characteristics.
