If it is not easy to slaughter animals unless they have been stunned by a method that will not kill them before they are slaughtered, then it is permissible to stun them and slaughter them whilst they are still alive, in cases of necessity.

Reciting the Basmalah before reciting Al-Fatihah is one of the Sunnahs of prayer. If someone omits it deliberately or because he forgot, he does not have to do the prostration of forgetfulness.

There is nothing wrong with congratulating one another at the beginning of the month of Ramadan. There is nothing wrong with saying Ramadan Mubarak.

It is permissible to offer greetings and congratulations on ` `Eid, and there is no specific greeting. Rather the greetings that people customarily use are permissible so long as no sin is involved.
