Loans should be repaid in the same currency as they were taken by the borrower unless the two parties agree at the time of repayment to repay it in a different currency. There is nothing wrong with that so long as that is done at the rate of exchange on the day of repayment not the rate of exchange that existed on the day when the loan was given.

1- When a person relieves himself, he must cleanse himself of impurities either with water – which is best and most perfect – or with something other than water which will remove the impurities, such as toilet paper, fabric, stones or something else. 2- You have no excuse for not praying or for delaying the prayer beyond the appointed time because you are unable to do Istinja’ since you can remove the impurity and cleanse yourself of it using tissues and the like.

1- The basic ruling with regard to hunting is that it is permissible except for one who is in a state of Ihram. Fishing and the pursuit of other aquatic creatures is not prohibited for the one who is in Ihram. 2- If the hunter or fisherman does not have any particular need for what he catches, and he is only doing it as a sport (i.e., as a leisure activity or for fun), then hunting or fishing in this case is disliked.

1- Some jobs are haram in and of themselves such as working in riba-based banks and places where alcohol is sold. 2- Some jobs may be haram because of things in the work-place that are contrary to Shari`ah such as mixing between men and women, or because it is stipulated that one should wear haram clothing or do other things that are contrary to Shari`ah such as shaving the beard. It is not permissible for the Muslim to do either type of job. However, there are guidelines to be followed and some exceptions in cases of need and when certain evils are unavoidable.

Signs of a good end in Islam are: Uttering the Shahadah (testimony of faith) when dying. Dying with sweat on the forehead. Dying on the night or day of Friday. Dying as a fighter for the sake of Allah. Dying of plague. Dying of a stomach disease. Dying because of being crushed by a falling wall or by drowning. A woman dying as a result of childbirth, or when she is pregnant. Death caused by burning, pleurisy and tuberculosis. Dying while defending one’s religion, wealth or life. Dying while guarding the borders of Islam for the sake of Allah. Dying whilst doing a righteous deed.

It is not permissible to deal with bribes, either accepting them or giving them. This is a major sin in Islam. Exceptional cases are: 1- taking one’s right, 2- removing or alleviating wrongdoing, and 3- giving money to workers or offices to go to the official bodies and do what is needed.

1. The Muslim must beware of impurity and try to avoid it as much as he can. 2. If Najasah (impurity) gets onto a person’s clothes, he does not have to do Ghusl. 3. Removing the impurity may be done by washing it until the traces of the impurity have disappeared. 4. Being pure and free from Najasah is a condition of the prayer being valid. 5. A small amount of all types of impurities may be overlooked. 6. If a few drops of urine get on a person’s garment and he washes off whatever got on it, until he thinks that most likely the Najasah has disappeared.

If your company deals with the banks in prohibited transactions, then you did well to leave this job. But you were wrong to train others on such transactions. You should have explained the Shar`i ruling. If the trainees responded positively, then praise be to Allah, and if they did not, then you have still done what is required of you.

There is nothing wrong with you designing a drawing or writing to be put on a T-shirt, so that if the T-shirt is sold via Amazon, you will get a share of its price, and if it is not sold you will not get anything.

The mere feeling that something has come out of the back passage does not break your Wudu. You do not have to repeat the prayers that you have offered because you were in a state of Wudu and you were not sure that there was anything that would invalidate it.
