Muslim businessmen can develop trust in Allah by: • Believing that Allah has already allocated provision to people, and He decreed that from eternity. • Cutting off any relationship between him and anyone other than Allah. • Being attached to Allah while taking appropriate measures and striving to earn a living. • Thinking positively of Allah and turning to Him in supplication, beseeching and asking of Him.

No one knows exactly when he will die, or in what land he will die. There are no specific signs by which a person may know that his death and the end of his life are approaching. But there are some signs which may indicate that the end of a person’s life is approaching, such as if he suffers a severe sickness from which people hardly ever recover.

If you have pain in your body, you can say these du`as: “A’udhu Billahi wa qudratihi min sharri ma ajidu wa uhadhir.” “Adhhib al-bas Rabb an-nas, wa’shfi anta al-Shafi, la shifa a illa shifauka shifa-an la yughadiru saqaman.”

Some virtues of Makkah and Madinah: 1. The best spot on earth, in and of itself, is Makkah, then Madinah. 2. One prayer in Al-Masjid Al-Haram in Makkah is better than one hundred thousand prayers offered in any other mosque. 3. Makkah is unique in that it is the place where Hajj and `Umrah. 4. Allah, may He be Exalted, swears by Makkah. 5. Allah, may He be Exalted, decreed Makkah to be a sanctuary the day He created the heavens and the earth. 6. Madinah is the location of Hijrah. 7. In Madinah, most of the verses on rulings and laws were revealed. 8. In Madinah there is the Prophet’s Mosque and the blessed Rawdah.

The virtues Friday include: 1- on it is the Friday prayer, which is the best of prayers, 2- praying Fajr in congregation on Fridays is the best prayer that the Muslim can pray during the week, and 3-whoever dies during the day or night of Friday, Allah will protect him from the trial of the grave.

You can increase Taqwa by: • Reflecting on the matter of this world and the hereafter and understanding the value of each of them • Striving to obey Allah and do righteous deeds • Fasting a great deal • Striving to acquire the characteristics of the righteous who fear Allah • Adhering to the guidance and teachings of the Prophet • Keeping away from what Allah has prohibited • Reflecting on the verses of Allah and His signs in the universe • Remembering Allah a great deal and reciting Quran • Keeping company with good people • Reading biographies of those who feared Allah among the righteous believers.

There is nothing wrong with you making Du`a for a Christian doctor by saying: May Allah bless you, may Allah honour you – intending thereby to ask Allah to bless her and honour her with Islam.

This is how to thank Allah for His blessings: 1-you must acknowledge in your heart that the Giver of these blessings is Allah; 2- you must acknowledge that with your tongue; 3- You give thanks with your physical faculties by not letting them see or hear any sin or evil.

When there is a command in the Quran to remember Allah’s blessing, what is meant is to remember it in one’s heart, by calling to mind Allah’s grace and favour in bestowing it upon His slaves; remembering it in one’s words, by speaking of it; and remembering it in one’s physical actions, by not using that blessing in ways that incur the wrath of Allah, may He be Glorified and Exalted.
