Reconciling the Divine Decree and Free Will
There is no contradiction between the fact that things are decreed and written, and the fact that we have free will when doing them, for we do not know what is written and we feel that we have complete freedom to choose what actions to take, and we distinguish between involuntary actions such as the heartbeat and the activity of the intestines, and voluntary actions that we do with our hands or feet or eyes and so on.SaveDoes Man Have Free Will and Choice?
1. The accountable person is free to choose whether to obey or disobey of his own free will, and he will be requited for that. 2. Allah knows what His slave’s fate will be, and He has written that with Him. 3. Allah supports and helps His believing slave, and He knows best who is deserving of support and help. 4. Allah forsakes whomever He will, and does not grant him support or help him. His support is based on His grace and His forsaking is based on His justice. 5. The one who is helped is the one who asks Allah for support and help. 6. The believing slave affirms the grace of Allah, acknowledges the blessings that He has bestowed upon him, and attributes all goodness and success to Him.SaveAl-Qada wal Qadar according to to Ahl al-Sunnah
1- Belief in al-qada wal qadar means certain belief that everything that happens in this universe happens by the will and decree of Allah. 2- Belief in al-qada wal qadar is the sixth pillar of faith, and no one’s faith is complete without it. 3- Belief in al-qadar cannot be complete until you believe in these four aspects: 1- knowledge, 2 –writing, 3- will, 4- creationSaveCan Anyone Get Expelled from Jannah?
1- Those who are blessed (destined for Paradise) and the people of faith, Allah has decreed that they will not exit from Paradise. 2- Muslims, who mixed good deeds with bad deeds, Allah will admit them to Hell for their sins for a while, then He will bring them out of the Fire and will decree that they will abide for eternity in Paradise after that. 3- If the disbeliever does something that is deserving of reward, he will be rewarded for it in this world, not in the Hereafter.SaveDegrees and Levels of Paradise and Hell
1- With regard to numbers, there is one Hell and one Paradise, but each of them has degrees and levels. The levels of Hell differ according to the extent of their inhabitants’ disbelief in this world. The hypocrites will be in the lowest level of Hell. We know of no limit to the number of degrees and levels in Paradise. It was said that their number is equal to the number of verses in the Quran. 2- The Sunnah describes the position of those who do certain actions. For example: 1- Faith in Allah and in the Messengers, 2-Jihad, 3-Those who sincerely desire martyrdom, 4- giving out in charity, 5- Doing wudu properly, and 6- Memorizing QuranSaveWill We See Allah in Jannah?
SaveWhat Is al-Kawthar?
Al-Kawthar has two meanings: 1- It is a river in Paradise which Allah has given to His Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), 2- It is a great cistern – a tank for holding water – which will be set up in the place of gathering on the Day of Resurrection, to which the ummah of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) will come.SaveTypes of Intercession in Islam
